- TTS and TTB are exchange rates from Yen to foreign currencies and from foreign currencies to Yen, respectively. These rates are different from exchange rates for checks and cash.
- Foreign exchange rates are updated daily. Please be sure to confirm transaction rates shown on Citibank Online menu before you make a transaction since those rates may be changed without pre-notice due to changes in the foreign exchange market.
- FX rates presented in the chart apply only to transactions of less than US$ 50,000 equivalent at branch or by phone and less than US$20,000 equivalent on Citibank Online or Citibank Mobile. For transactions of US$50,000 equivalent or more at branch or by phone and US$20,000 equivalent or more on Citibank Online or Citibank Mobile, FX rates including FX commissions are quoted each time based on current FX market. In such cases, FX commissions by currency are the same as the ones applied above.
- Currently, Thai Baht deposit from other currencies is not accepted at Citibank.
- If the exchange rate fluctuates, or even if it does not fluctuate, because of the foreign exchange commission to and from Yen at the time of exchange (ex. One Yen per US dollar), the principal of a foreign currency deposit may be less than the original Yen amount when converted back into Yen.
- Only Principal amount up to 10 million Yen and interest of Yen deposits at one financial institution, are covered by Deposit Insurance. When you receive premium deposit principal and interest in foreign currency at maturity timing, it will not be covered by Deposit Insurance. Foreign currency deposits are not covered by any deposit insurance.
