Notification of Partial Revision of Customer Agreements

December 2009
Retail Banking Division
Citibank Japan Ltd.

Dear Customers,

We would like to notify you of changes we have made to our account policies. These changes have been made as part of our cooperative effort to contribute to the Japanese government's policy that aims to eliminate racketeering in Japan.
In June 2007, the Japanese government implemented, "Basic Principles to Prevent Damages from Antisocial Forces." All members of the Japan Bankers Association agreed on the "JBA Agreement for Strengthening Efforts to Eliminate Racketeering" in July of the same year. In September 2009, the association announced detailed new policies to reinforce its efforts based on the previous agreement. Under the newly implemented policies, we at Citibank Japan have decided to do our part by strengthening our account regulations. We hereby inform you that these account policy changes will come into effect in February 2010.
Please see the reverse for our new account policies.
