Thus please be reminded that the actual amount available for new transaction from funds in the MultiMoney Savings account is total "Available amount" less the amount of Order Watch requests.
If you have not borrowed from MultiMoney Credit before, or if you have recently borrowed from an account from which you have not borrowed before, your displayed borrowing rate from MultiMoney Credit will be set at 0.0000%. Buy/Sell Foreign Currency
Transactions made at Citibank Online after 16:50 on business days or at any time during weekends or holidays will be reflected on the next business day.
Application of the Spot Rate
- If the amount of money to be transacted is equivalent to or greater than 20,000 United States dollars, the rate that will be applied will be displayed on the screen for each transaction.
- When a transaction of an amount equivalent to or greater than 20,000 United States dollars is executed, the exchange rate calculated with the Foreign Exchange fee and the current market rate as of the transaction day will be applied. Therefore, the displayed rates may be updated and changed during the transaction due to market fluctuation. In such cases, please try the transaction again at Citibank Online, or call CitiPhone Banking.
- Transactions for any amount equivalent to or greater than 50 million yen may not be executed at Citibank Online. In such cases, please consult an associate at one of our branches or call CitiPhone Banking.
- Please note that the amounts given above are subject to change due to Foreign Exchange market trends.
Cross Currency Transactions
Cross Currency transactions (conversion of one foreign currency into another foreign currency) may be executed during one session, but such transactions require the original foreign currency to be converted into Yen first, then the Yen amount will be converted into your selected foreign currency.
When the amount of money in one transaction is equivalent to 1 million yen*, the Mid Rate will be applied when your original currency is converted into Yen. When Yen is converted into another foreign currency, the TTS rate will be applied as normal.
| * |
How the “amount equivalent to 1 million yen” is calculated. |
| If your selected amount is entered in the original foreign currency, the TTB rate for the original currency is applied when converting into Yen. |
| If your selected amount is entered in another foreign currency, the TTS rate for the foreign currency is applied when converting into Yen. |
“Reference Cross Currency Rates” are for reference only and reflect the Foreign Exchange rate upon executing Cross Currency transactions.
Below is the method for the calculation of Reference Cross Currency Rates.
The amount in another foreign currency, divided by the amount in the original foreign currency, equals the Reference Cross Currency Rate. (Only 5 digits after the decimal point will be displayed.)
The amount in foreign currencies calculated with the Reference Cross Currency Rate may not be the same as the amount to be transacted.
The special rate for CitiGold members is not applied to Cross Currency Transactions executed at Citibank Online. To use this special rate, please ask our customer service staff at CitiPhone Banking, or an associate at one of our branches.
Order Watch
- During the effective period of the order, the order amount cannot be used for other transactions. If you desire to use the same funds for other transactions, you must first cancel your order.

However that allocated amount is not usable for any other transaction. Thus please be reminded that the actual amount available for new transaction from funds in the MultiMoney Savings account is total "Available amount" less the amount of Order Watch requests.
