Premium Deposits

	During your session, please do not use Browser Back Button and use "Back" or "Cancel" button inside Citibank Online.

The Premium Deposits is a structured deposit service that determines the currency of your deposit based on counter currency rates as of the maturity date.

Below are the instructions for opening a Premium Deposit.

Personal Profiling for Investment and Foreign Currency Deposits

Have you completed your “Personal Profiling”?

In order to offer more suitable products, Citibank requests customers to answer a questionnaire on your knowledge, experience and purpose about investment, total financial assets, annual income etc to calculate your ‘Risk Score’ .

*	If your Risk Score doesn’t meet this product’s Risk Level, purchase of this product cannot be conducted.
*	Your answers to Personal Profiling will be valid for 1 year. Please retake the Personal Profiling questionnaire if your score has expired.

Confirm Important Notices

Click "Time Deposits/Structured Deposits" from the main menu on the left hand side of the screen and select "Premium Deposit" below. After clicking [I will execute transaction], you can see " Terms and Conditions for Electric Delivery of Documents Relating to Liability Products" and "Information Memorandum" in PDF format in a separate window that opens automatically. Please agree to Electronic Delivery, confirm the reception of "Information Memorandum" and click [I have agreed to Electronic Delivery and have received Information Memorandum electronically].

Select investment type

Select your preferred transaction type from among Deposit in Japanese Yen, Deposit in Foreign Currency, and Cross Currency Type.

Input Details

1. Confirm or select the Deposit Currency.

"Japanese Yen" is automatically displayed in the case of Deposit in Japanese Yen.
Please select a foreign currency for Deposit in Foreign Currency and Cross Currency Type.
The MultiMoney Account is automatically set as the account from which funds are withdrawn in case of all investment types.

2. Enter the amount you would like to deposit.

The minimum deposit for all deposit types is equivalent to 1million yen. Please enter the deposit amount in the text box using single-byte (half-width) characters without commas.

3. Select a counter currency and deposit term.

"Japanese Yen" is automatically displayed as the counter currency in the case of Deposit in Foreign Currency. You can choose "All currencies" and "All terms" for the counter currency and deposit term, but please note that you cannot select "All currencies" and "All terms" at the same time.

Set the differential (Strike Price)

4. You can enter the differential (Strike Price) using either of the following two methods and click [View the latest condition].

A. Input differentials from ¥0 to maximum ¥6 in units of 1 sen (1/100 yen).
B. Set differentials with moving slider to the right
C. Check the box and click [View the latest condition] to show the rate table.

The range of differentials
Yen: From ¥0 to maximum ¥6 (up to 2 decimal places) in units of sen (1/100 yen)
pips: From 0 pips to maximum 1,000 pips in units of 1 pips

*	The selectable differential is subject to change due to market conditions.

[What are pips?]
"Pips" are the smallest exchange rate unit.
E.g. If the current spot price is 1 EUR = 1.3000 USD:
Deposit Currency: USD
Counter Currency: EUR
Strike Price: 1.2950 USD
pips: 50 pips (= 1.3000 -1.2950)

5. A list of terms is shown (in the sample table, "View Pricing Across Range of Differentials" has been selected).
Select your preffered condition.

*	If there was no condition that can be set, "NA" would be shown in the Select column. Please change the condition and click [View the latest condition] again.

In the case of a Cross Currency Type, the following table is used for the exchange rates.

For example, the exchange rate for Euros (EUR) and US Dollars (USD) is shown as "XX USD per 1 EUR".

6. Select your purpose of transaction.

7. After confirming the details you have entered, click [Next].

* If you changed the condition, please click [View the latest condition] and confirm the latest condition.

Review Order

The details you entered in STEP 1 are displayed.
Please note that the displayed information is valid for 90 seconds.
Once 90 seconds have elapsed, a message informing you of this appears at the top of the screen.
Click [OK]. A calculation is carried out with a new rate and interest rate.

Check the order details you have entered. If everything is correct, check the box confirming that you have read the transaction notice above, and then click [Execute Transaction].
