Deposits/Withdrawals
Citibank’s extensive banking network makes your everyday banking a simple matter. Make deposits and withdrawals at conveniently located CDs/ ATMs both domestically and overseas.
Domestic
You can make withdrawals and balance inquiries at approximately 60,000 major city bank and regional bank CDs/ATMs. Plus, your deposits and withdrawals will be free of charge if the total amount of your total average monthly relationship balance is equivalent to a million yen or more*1.
You can use your Banking Card for deposits, withdrawals and balance inquiries at approximately 26,000 Japan Post Bank or post office CDs/ATMs and approximately 14,000 Seven Bank ATMs*1.
| *1 | Our Japanese affiliated financial institutions charge Citibank customers a service fee of from 105 yen to 315 yen (including consumption tax), depending on the time of day, for use of their CDs/ATMs except under the following conditions.
However, to be eligible for the free withdrawal (fee reimbursement) service when using any of the CDs/ATMs of major banks and regional banks, customers will also need to have a balance of ¥5,000 or more, at the time of withdrawal, in their yen savings account (includes e-Savings) or yen checking account, from which the funds are withdrawn. A CD/ATM charge will be deducted when a transaction is conducted at a CD/ATM, but this will be credited to the customer’s account at a later time. - This service fee is waived for customers who have maintained a total average monthly relationship balance of one million yen equivalent or more during the two months prior to the transaction. These customers can make up to 100 transactions (withdrawals and/or deposits) from the CDs/ATMs at practically no charge.
- Including the month that the customer opens an account at Citibank and up to an additional two months, regardless of the total average monthly relationship balance, customer can conduct up to 20 transactions (withdrawals and/or deposits) at the CDs/ATMs at practically no charge.(except the usage in overseas ATMs)

Overseas
You can use your Banking Card at approximately one million CDs/ATMs in 170 countries to withdraw funds from your Yen Savings Account in the local currency of the country you are in. Also, you can make withdrawals and check your account balance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year*1 at CDs/ATMs operated by Citibank or members of our affiliated network.
Citibank's cash cards can be used at CDs/ATMs that feature the logos below.*2

Conversion exchange rate for using overseas CDs/ATMs from foreign currency to yen is, in the case of US dollars, equal to the daily telegraphic transfer sales rate (TTS) at the Citibank Japan Ltd. Where your account is held +3% (TTS × 1.03). For other currencies, the amount is converted into US dollars at the rate determined by the partner company, then converted to yen at the above rate. When you withdraw cash from a CD or ATM outside Japan, you will be charged overseas ATM service charge of 210 yen (incl. tax) per withdrawal when using your Banking Card and US$2.00 per withdrawal when using you Gaika Cash Card. Some CDs/ATMs operators charge a fee for using the machine. Some CDs/ATMs operators charge network fees in using overseas network. |
