How to Use CitiPhone Banking Automated Voice Guidance Service
The following gives you an overview of how to use the CitiPhone Banking Automated Voice Guidance Service to perform various banking transactions.
This automated service is available to all Citibank account holders.

To receive guidance in English, first select  . Follow the voice instructions and press the appropriate buttons on your touch-tone phone to perform the desired operations.

Regarding the Use of Automated Voice Guidance Service
- When calling CitiPhone Banking, please have your account number and Telephone Identification Code (T-PIN) ready.
- Your TPIN is the 4-digit number that was decided when you opened your account, as distinct from your Banking Card PIN. The Automated Voice Guidance System cannot be used without the T-PIN. If you have forgotten your T-PIN, please submit a "PIN or TPIN Re-issuance Request".

- When using the voice response system for Inter-Account fund transfers, please listen to the voice instructions till the end before making your selection. After each transaction, you will be given a transaction number in case you need to inquire about the transaction. Please record and retain this number for future reference.
- When you have completed your transaction, please press
and hang up the phone.
- Customers using a rotary-dial type line are requested to make arrangements to use it as a touch-tone phone.
- The announced TTS exchange rates are for converting yen into foreign currency. The TTB rates are for converting foreign currency into yen. Rates for checks and US dollars in cash will vary from the announced rates.
- Fax services are available only within Japan.
- Transactions requested from 9:00 to 16:50 on business days will be dated the same day. Transactions requested later will be dated on the following business day.
- When opening a foreign currency time deposit to benefit from add-on interest rate, please be sure to transfer Yen assets to the new foreign currency time deposit. Please note that foreign currency time deposits opened with your existing foreign currency assets will not be eligible for add-on interest rate.
- Renewal of time deposits scheduled for automatic renewal will be processed at 16:50 on the date of maturity. After 16:50, the deposit cannot be cancelled until the next maturity date.
- You can change your Banking Card personal identification number [PIN] at any time between 9:00 and 16:50 on the bank business days.
- Fax services regarding Foreign Currency Exchange Rate, Exchange/Interest Rate Chart, Weekly Economic Review report and Investment News can be accessed from the Foreign Currency transaction menu and foreign currency exchange rate menu. Please follow the Automated Voice Guidance Service of each menu.
- The following transactions and services are not available through our Automated Voice Guidance Service. Please submit your request directly to our CitiPhone Banking Customer Service Representative, or visit a Citibank branch near you.
