Set limits for daily CD/ATM or J-Debit withdrawals made with your cards. Use your cards with fewer worries, both in Japan and overseas.

Benefits

You can set different withdrawal limits for the various accounts you use in Japan and overseas.

You can set your own limits in ¥10,000 increments and manage your savings personally.

*	Gaika Cash Card holders can set withdrawal limits in increments as small as US$10.
*	You can set your personal withdrawal limit at or below the maximum amount authorized by Citibank.
*	When you withdraw cash from CD or ATM outside Japan, you will be charged overseas ATM service charge of 210 yen (incl. tax) per withdrawal when using your Banking Card and US$2.00 per withdrawal when using Gaika Cash Card.

The maximum amount of use can be set for each authentication type.

The maximum amount of use can be set for each of the magnetic stripe, IC chip and biometric authentication.
Your transactions can be made at the level of security separately set for each authentication type.

*	You will need your “IC Banking Card” to use IC authentication. You will need to register your finger vein authentication data to use the biometric authentication. There will be a service fee of 1,050 yen (incl. tax) that you will need to pay for your IC Banking Card to be issued.
*	When you are outside Japan, the magnetic stripe authentication is used for transactions even when an IC Banking Card is used. Please note that overseas transactions cannot be made using the IC and biometric authentication.

Adjust your withdrawal limit as often as you wish.

You can adjust your withdrawal limit any number of times simply by issuing instructions at a Citibank branch counter, by CitiPhone Banking or with Citibank Online. Savor the convenience of caring for your own money just the way you want.

*	Please allow about 3-5 business days to process each request.
*	When using Citibank Online, you can reduce, but not raise, your withdrawal limit, and you can change the limit only up to a certain number of times a day. You may select your withdrawal limit only from among those designated by Citibank.
*	The usage limit for IC and biometric authentication cannot be set through Citibank Online.

Greater peace of mind.

Unauthorized use of cash cards by third parties can result in losses. Putting a firm cap on withdrawals will bring peace of mind.

Transactions and applicable limits

You can set withdrawal limits for your Yen Savings Account/e-Savings Yen Savings Account (Banking Card), US Dollar Savings Account (Gaika Cash Card Account), Advance Money Account and Checking Account. The withdrawal limit for each account must be set independently.

Note that Advance Money loan limit must be set at an allowable amount and below the credit limit.
Please request the settings for your Advance Money account at a Citibank branch or through CitiPhone Banking.
Advance Money transactions use magnetic stripe.

Notice

The above maximum withdrawal limits include withdrawals made with supplementary cards.
Some CDs/ATMs overseas may have a different daily limit established for withdrawals in addition to the limit you have set yourself.

The limit according to the purpose

Before departure, set the limit to the amount you will need when overseas, and set the limit back to the original amount as soon as you return to Japan.

When you withdraw cash from overseas ATMs, your account may not be debited immediately due to telecommunications network problems. In such cases, your account will be debited as soon as the network returns to normal. If you make a withdrawal that exceeds your available account balance under such circumstances, Citibank will inform you later of the deposit amount required to replenish your account.

When you are outside Japan, the magnetic stripe is used for transactions made with an IC Banking Card. Please note that overseas transactions cannot be made using the IC or biometric authentication.

Specify the limits so that the amounts will be “magnetic stripe authentication”“IC chip authentication”“biometric authentication.”
Please specify the limit on withdrawals from the affiliated CDs/ATMs in Japan to an amount in the acceptable range and the limit on withdrawals from Citibank ATMs to an amount equal to or less than the maximum acceptable amount.
The total amount you can withdraw on the same day in Japan (including J-Debit deductions) is equal to your domestic Citibank ATM withdrawal limit. If you set your domestic Citibank ATM limit at ¥0, you will be unable to make any withdrawals from affiliated banks' CDs/ATMs in Japan.
When setting overseas withdrawal limits, please allow for possible ATM service fees (such as charges for non-business hours service or overseas network service).

Citibank Online
You can use Citibank Online to reduce, but not to raise, your withdrawal limit, and you can change the limit only up to a specified number of times on the same day. You may select your withdrawal limit only from among those designated by Citibank. In order to set a limit other than one of those designated, apply at a Citibank branch counter, by CitiPhone Banking or with the attached application form.

*	The usage limit for IC and biometric authentication cannot be set through Citibank Online.

Please allow 3-5 business days for processing of your request. Your new withdrawal limit will become effective as soon as the application procedure is completed. Please note that we do not send notices of completion of the procedure.
