Alert Service
Whenever a cash card transaction involving your account is made, a notice is sent to your registered e-mail address.
If you receive notice of a transaction you were not aware of, you can take steps to block further transactions immediately.
Benefits
All transactions involving your cash card in Japan or overseas are reported to you.
You receive notice of all transactions, including balance inquiries, deposits, withdrawals and remittances, made with either your Banking Card (including supplementary cards for use by family members) or Gaika Cash Card via any Citibank ATMs or affiliated bank's CDs/ATMs. You also receive notice of shopping purchases paid for by J-Debit.
You are notified by e-mail at the e-mail address you register (mobile or PC).
An e-mail notification is sent to the mobile or PC e-mail address you registered with Citibank.
You receive notification of each and every transaction involving your account.
You can act quickly when you suspect unauthorized use of your cards.

If you receive notice of a transaction you were not aware of, you can immediately instruct us to suspend all further card transactions. This will limit the extent of any loss stemming from unauthorized use of your cards.

- This service does not extend to Advance Money.
- If you apply for a Gaika Cash Card after registering for the Alert Service, please reregister. You will not receive e-mail notification concerning transactions involving your Gaika Cash Card US Dollar Savings Account until the reregistration process is completed.
- Some customers are not eligible for this service. It depends on the type of accounts they have. Please verify your status by contacting us for further details.
- Notifications from Alert Service may be delayed or fail to arrive due to such causes as network problems affecting your mobile phone or Internet service provider.
- Alert Service is free of charge, but customers must pay their own e-mail usage fees, including mobile phone packet communication fees.
