Premium Deposit (Structured Deposit with FX Option)

We will give you bonus points or bonus miles according to the amount you deposit in Premium Deposit per month.

  • *For Deposit in Foreign Currency/Cross Currency Type, Yen equivalent amount of the deposit amount will be calculated using the foreign exchange rate (TTB rate) as of the last business day of the previous month of transaction date.
  • *Your earned bonus points or bonus miles will be granted to you two subsequent months after the month in which you make such transactions.
  • *Please read the Information Memorandum and Pre-contract Document before applying for the Premium Deposit service.
Premium Deposit

Deposit Transaction from Yen into Foreign Currency (excluding foreign exchange and remittance)

We will give you bonus points or bonus miles according to the amount you deposited in foreign currency from Yen per month (excluding foreign exchange and remittance).

  • *Your earned bonus points or bonus miles will be granted to you two subsequent months after the month in which you make such transactions.
  • *Deposit transactions between two foreign currencies are not eligible.

Account maintenance fee waiver

The Citibank account maintenance fee (2,100 Yen/month, tax included) will be waived.

  • *If you cancel your Citibank credit card, this fee will not be waived.
  • *Citibank charges a monthly account maintenance fee of 2,100 yen (incl. tax) to your account on the first business day of each month. Please note, however, that such fee will be charged for the month in question if youｒ Total Average Monthly Relationship Balance or other conditions satisfy specific requirements.

Foreign currency cash handling fee waiver

  • Foreign currency cash handling fees are waived for up to 1,000 US dollars or 1,000 Euros per day.
  • Standard Fees : 2 Yen per US dollar/3 Yen per Euro
  • Eligible Transactions : Account deposits and withdrawals, transaction payments
  • *These services are provided by Citibank Japan, Ltd.

The annual fee for Citibank Dollar Card will be waived for Citibank Reward Points.(8,000points)

  • ※For Primary Member's annual fee only.
  • ※Annual fee will be waived for one year only.
  • ※Please apply before the expiration month on your card. We will not be able to accept if your points do not meet the required points.

Preferential annual fee/fee-waiver services

Citibank Citi Gold Card

The annual credit card fee for the first year will be waived for Citibank Citi Gold Card holders with a credit card payment total of 100,000 Yen*1 or more within the first three months. The annual credit card fee after the first year will also be waived if your yearly credit card payment total is 300,000 Yen*2 or more.

  • *1.2Only the amount billed to Citi Cards Japan, Inc. during the one-year period will be subject to the calculation of your credit card payment total. Any amount you spend with your Citibank credit card before the period end not billed to Citi Cards Japan, Inc. during that period will not be included in your credit card payment total for that year.
  • *1.2You will be charged our regular annual fees if your credit card payment total does not meet our requirements.
  • *1.2The amount spent on your Citibank credit card by family members using a family member’s card will also be included in the calculation of your credit card payment total.
  • *1.2Your Citibank credit card payment total is calculated by combining the total amount you spend using these credit cards introduced above only. Any amount spent using other credit cards issued by Citi Cards Japan, Inc., including business account cards or any other credit card you hold before switching to this new credit card service, will not be included in the calculation of your credit card payment total.
  • *1.2The annual credit card service fee and all handling fees for Citibank financial products are not included in the calculation of your credit card payment total.
  • *2There are cases in which the determination period for the calculation of your credit card payment total is less than a full twelve months.
  • *Other benefits for annual fee may be offered.

Citibank Select VISA Platinum Card / Delta SkyMiles Citibank Platinum VISA Card

No fee for the first year, half off for subsequent years.

Benefit conditions

  • *Please note that all of the benefits shown will be provided on the condition that you designate a Citibank account for your Citibank credit card payment. The benefits herein are subject to change without prior notice. If your Citibank account you have designated for your credit card payments is canceled, or if you designate a non-Citibank account for your credit card payments after your enrollment, Citi Cards Japan, Inc. is entitled to cancel your membership. If your Citibank status changes, Citi Cards Japan, Inc. will replace your existing credit card with an appropriate card.
  • *Family member's cards are not entitled to Point/miles for bank transaction and Account maintenance fee waiver.
  • *Please note that your earned bonus points and miles become invalid if your Citibank credit card is canceled on the date they are to be posted to your account.
